Dr. Aaron Edsinger, CTO and Cofounder
An entrepreneur and engineer with over 12 years experience developing advanced humanoids, force controlled manipulators, and dexterous hands, Aaron is a recognized leader in the field of human friendly robotics. Aaron has an engineering degree from Stanford and a Ph.D. from MIT. At MIT Aaron was mentored by Professor Rodney Brooks (cofounder iRobot, Rethink) where Aaron created the well known Domo humanoid and its approach to Robot Manipulation in Human Environments that helped inspire the Rethink Baxter robot. Aaron is a cofounder of Meka Robotics, HStar Technologies, and more recently Redwood Robotics. Aaron’s leadership at Meka has established it as a renowned innovation and research partner for developing everything from mobile manipulators to socially interactive humanoids and agile bipeds.
Dr. Stefan Nusser, CEO
Stefan is a seasoned business executive and innovation leader with over 15 years of experience in managing and commercializing research technologies. Stefan has an established track record of driving early-stage IT projects to successful implementation with proven productivity and revenue impact. Having previously spent more than 10 years in leadership roles in IBM’s Research and Software divisions, he is currently also serving as Executive Director of Solutions at Willow Garage. Stefan received a Ph.D. in Business Informatics from the Vienna University of Business Administration and Economics.
Anthony Jules, COO and VP of Product
Anthony is a proven business leader with over 20 years of experience in high tech multi-disciplinary businesses. Anthony was part of the management team and a Vice President at Sapient Corporation (Nasdaq:SAPE) for over 10 years. He was a major contributor to its growth from fewer than 10 to over 3000 people, and held leadership roles in client management, software development, business operations and people strategy. A rare hybrid of business strategist, artist, and technologist, Anthony has a unique ability to synthesize market needs, technical possibilities, business execution and human-centered design into a coherent and actionable vision. Anthony holds a Bachelor and Masters in Computer Science And Engineering from MIT.
